the mrbrown show: Bak Chor Mee Man 2
Really just want to spread the word about this podcast from MrBrown of course. Humour can sometimes bring the stupidity of an argument into stark contrast. Of course it's not really about Bak Chor Mee.
Podcast: the mrbrown show 19 April 2007: Bak Chor Mee Man 2 (MP3, file size: 2mb, Time: 00:04:05)
You must pay top dollar for top talent. You must pay top dollar for top talent. Did I mention, you must pay top dollar for top talent?

The new arguement still fails in comparison with the previous podcast. Though it reflects on the governments pay, it was done rather briefly. The "gahmen" deserves more then that yeah? ;)
A little tur kwa doesn't really hurt, but then saying that the tur kwa sucks just because you don't have a pair chopsticks to pick it up is propostorous. When that person could actually afford chopsticks made from china.

mr brown misses the point; it is valid to argue singapore needs competent leaders, who need to be paid competitive salaries, but the argument would be more persuasive if comes with information on how these competent leaders have brought benefits to everyone: have the old, sick, unemployed, single/divorced mothers, low skilled, HDB heartland, etc, all shared in the wealth increase which these leaders have generated?
